I have to say I think Swindon are going to win this one with 50+ points. Perhaps Kevh (or someone) can give us a report later.
Dk: I've seen all the comments on the Lakeside forum and I hope you won't mind me saying but it seems some people are never pleased. You make changes, they complain. You don't make changes they complain. A mid table finish is better than you've had for a few years now, and with the new promotion I'm not quite sure why there's so much doom and gloom. Perhaps it's because the fans know a fully fit (current) Lakeside team who are all performing at the top of their game could have been a major force to be reckoned with. Perhaps they just like moaning.

Galling for Coventry fans, perhaps it would have been had he not been replaced by the current number 1, however he chose tom leave mid season after changing his mind many times. That is now history and it shows that since he has left we have been quite successful.
Yes I would love to see him back riding for the bees especially on his lowish average, but like it has been said elsewhere he is prone to miissing meetings in the UK, it is perfectly clear that the UK is at the bottom of his priorities (btw I have no prob with that) and it is mainly for that reason I do not think he can be considered as long term signing again.
BTW the bees fans were only repeating what AJ said on many occasions publically, and it was initially started by some Poole fans who were in the know stating that AJ was going to sign for them.

ANDREAS Jonsson has been ruled out of the Scandinavian Grand Prix after surgeons confirmed the extent of his shoulder injury. Jonsson now faces a month on the sidelines following his Heat 16 crash at Prague, the damage being such that he cannot have screws inserted. The Swedish star has been badly hampered by injury all season, with three big crashes in Grand Prix meetings so far - and in between them, he was victorious in the fourth round of the season at Copenhagen. But he will now be missing more meetings in his League racing, for Bydgoszcz (Poland), Dackarna (Sweden) and Lakeside (Great Britain). He said: "There are more broken bits than we saw in the x-ray picture in Prague and you can't merge them in a normal way, by screws. "The doctors decided to immobilise my shoulder for a week and then I'll start rehabilitation. That's the only cure for this injury which I've had problems with for a really long time now. The whole treatment should take four weeks." From: www.speedwayworld.tv

Looks like King Emil will have to lead Polonia's assault on Liga I success.

What on earth is it about the Arena/Lakeside team that makes them so unlucky with injuries, really tough luck for AJ and the team TBH. Makes you wonder if there is some sort of curse . Real bad luck and so early in the season.

Andreas Jonsson made his return to the saddle in Poland today for Polonia Bydgoszcz, but after scoring 4 points in his first couple of rides, he's been replaced by Emil Sajfutdinov for his third programmed ride.

Don't hold your breath on him being back this week. From speedwayworld.tv:
ANDREAS Jonsson's injury comeback lasted just two races before the Swedish star was forced to pull out of Bydgoszcz's clash with Gdansk. Jonsson scored four points, winning his second ride, but he was still in pain from his hand injury and he may now need further time to recover. Bydgoszcz won a close meeting 48-42 with the match clinching 5-1s both coming from Emil Sajfutdinov and Marcin Jedrzejewski, who combined in Heats 1 and 14. Jonsson sustained his injury in a crash at Belle Vue on March 31 whilst racing for Lakeside, and has two more meetings scheduled for the British club as well as next Sunday's Polish match in Ostrow before the Slovenian Grand Prix on April 26. He said: "I had to withdraw because I simply couldn't control the bike any more. My right hand swelled up, and started aching and pulsing in a strange way. "First I wanted to break for one or two races and then go back for Heat 14, but despite using an ice spray nothing helped. It looks like my injured wrist needs a bit more time. "It's just as well Polonia won the match, I'd be so disappointed if we hadn't. I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw our young riders winning Heat 14 which decided the meeting."

Chris Louis or Piotr Swiderski as a guest on Firday then, seeing as Davey Watt is riding for Poole that night.
