Sub, if you object to me talking about betting and such on here, let me know.

Proctor may still be feeling the effects of his tumble last Thursday in Redcar's home meeting against the barbarians. Wolverhampton much weaker with Kerr.

But the Dullard didn't score more than 10 points; indeed none of the Pirates managed to score more than 10 points as they were heavily defeated by the Wolves: WOLVERHAMPTON..581..P Karlsson..2,3,3,3,2' = 13+12..N Klindt..1',1,3,2' = 7+23..T Woffinden..1',3,2,3 = 9+14..A Skornicki..2,2',1',3 = 8+25..F Lindgren..3,3,3,2',3 = 14+16..J Haines..0,0,1,2' = 3+17..C Kerr..1,0,2',1 = 4+1POOLE..341..B Pedersen..3,1,4,0,0 = 82..L Jankowski..0,0,0 = 03..J Screen..3,2,1,2 = 84..D Davidsson..0,1',0,0 = 1+15..C Holder..2,2,3,1,1 = 96..T Piszcz..3,0,0,0,0 = 37..P Hurry..2',1',1,1 = 5+2Taken from: www.speedwayupdates.proboards103.comSome truly shameful performances in there from the Pirates, particularly the Dullard and Holder twice being 5-1ed by the Karlsson-Lindgren partnership at the business end of the meeting. The Wolves, however, continue to look strong.

An interesting point in this meeting could well be Ht 6, where Holder tumbled and his team mate Tomasz Piszcz was excluded. Now, I was previously told that if a team mate caused a rider to fall it was automatically the fallen rider excluded. Was I misinformed?

Yes, I imagine you were misinformed...........the rider who is the primary cause of the stoppage has to be excluded, irrespective of the colours he's wearing............Jeez, Damian would have a field day if that rule was implemented.

I'll never put my faith in the Dullard again But I do like the look of that Wolves side, providing PK and Lindgren really lead from the front like last night.

Kev, but Lukas has only ever propelled a member of the opposing side over the fence And it was a one-off, a whole four years ago now.

An interesting point in this meeting could well be Ht 6, where Holder tumbled and his team mate Tomasz Piszcz was excluded. Now, I was previously told that if a team mate caused a rider to fall it was automatically the fallen rider excluded. Was I misinformed? This was a shameful incident. Tomasz Piscz made a superb 1st and 2nd turn to PASS Pk around the outside and into the lead on the back straight. PK dove inside him entering turn 3, pushing Piscz out a little.. Holder, around 5 bike lengths behind entered the corner and started to head for his usual outside line. If he had one iota of intelligence in his head he would have seen that his team mate was going to be pushed wide. As it turned out Piscz was pushed out, had a 'slight' wobble as he did so, not enough to slow him down though as he emerged from the corner still level with PK. Holder, halfway round the bend decided to fling his arms in the air and flop of his bike. He then parked his bike in the middle of the track and sat there. The race continued to the 1st & 2nd turn where Piscz made another cracking bend and was looking like passing PK again on the back straight when the red lights came on. Astonishingly, after letting the race continue for another half a lap the referee excluded Piscz!! However, worse was to follow, as Piscz slowed and rode past holder, the prima donna Aussie started gesticulating and moved towards Piscz, who had to take evasive action. Pathetic display from Holder. At this point Piscz had won heat 2 easily, and was battling PK. He failed to score in his remaining 3 riders. Well done Chris Holder, you set a fine example for your team!
