See Schumi, I told you Button and Hamilton would be driving together in a British dream team. Wrong team and wrong year, but needless to say I told you so.

Why all the fuss about diffusers. They're just fins on the bottom of the car, so why can't the teams without them just weld some on..

It is becoming increasingly obvious that Brawn GP are the new favourites of Ecclestone. He did, after all, exert much of his influence in keeping the team alive when Honda pulled the plug in the winter. Ferrari's criticism of various Ecclestone ideas obviously hasn't been forgiven, or forgotten.

Why all the fuss about diffusers. In Renault's case, they're claiming they had a similar design last year and were told it was illegal. Apparently it'll take a few weeks to build the diffusers and get them on the cars, although no doubt they've had the plans and production under way already and were just waiting for the green light.

Legality and illegality in the world of F1 tends to depend on a team's standing with Ecclestone and the FIA. I'm just waiting for McLaren's superior KERs system - the best in the field, bar none, according to Martin Brundle - to be declared illegal.

McLaren deserve all they get - they've turned into a shambles under Whitmarsh. The sooner that Hamilton gets out of there into a more reputable team, the better.

[In Renault's case, they're claiming they had a similar design last year and were told it was illegal. Maybe it was according to the rules last season, or simply that actually designed a diffuser that didn't conform to the regs, whereas Brawn GP did.

The rules are that the holes to allow air flow can't be visible from the top of the car, looking down. In this case they can be seen, but the claim is they're not "holes" but part of the design. Seems a bit flexible to me.
