So, after losing earlier in Moscow on Orwell, can the "happy Hammers" return to winning ways by the side of the lake? Apparently the bookies think they can. And I agree - it'll be a major suprise if the Witches of Comrade Louis can take anything apart from dented pride away from deepest Essex this evening.

With the rain by all accounts causing a problem in east London, one wonders why Cook isn't demanding the referee calls it off. Well quite simply because the 'rain' wasn't rain, it was drizzle, and it actually kept the track in optimum condition throughout the evening. I'm actually warming to Cookie's view of things some people post on internet forums.
