Another great performance by Bobby D's boys, but they did win the coin toss and that matters at Wimborne Road: POOLE..361..B Pedersen..2,3,2 = 72..L Jankowski..0,0,3,0 = 33..J Screen..0,2',2',2 = 6+24..D Davidsson..2,3,3 = 85..C Holder..3,3,3 = 96..P Hurry..0,0,1 = 17..C Neath..1,1,0,0 = 2EASTBOURNE..361..D Watt..3,0,2 = 52..D Norris..1,1,1',0 = 3+13..L Bridger..3,2,3,1 = 94..C Woodward..1,1',1 = 3+15..L Dryml..0,2,1 = 36..R Kling..3,1',0 = 4+17..S Gustafsson..2',2,2,3 = 9+1Taken from: speedwayupdates.proboards.com

Doesn't do me any favours regards fantasy team either, I have Bridger and Watt, although Watt is riding on thin ice In this instance, I'm not too bothered all that matters is Poole 1 league point, Eastbourne 2

Just had a glance at the updates and it shows what a massive advantage winning the coin toss is. If the visitors get gates 1 & 3 after the coin toss they have those gates in three of the first four races. And the Poole reserves are generally so awful that they nullify the solitary 1 & 3 for the Pirates. If a visiting team is "on the ball", they can have a significant lead after just four races. The Pirates are playing "catch up" and the away team has something to defend. Today, Eastbourne were leading 5-13 after Ht 3 and 9-15 after Ht 4 - that would probably have been better if Dryml hadn't tumbled in Ht 4.
