Personally out of those mentioned, i would go for Johnston, Jansson and Rempala. I'd go along with that too!

Taken from speedwayworldtv: IPSWICH rider-boss Chris Louis has admitted that the Witches were in the race to sign Simon Stead - but he is still confident about the winter team-building at Foxhall. Stead is joining Coventry on loan from Belle Vue, and Ipswich still have three places left to fill in their team with Louis hoping to be able to announce all three at the same time. He said: "The key to having a good season is to bring in riders who can up their average, and Simon was one of them. We have to accept there are a number of reasons why riders take the decisions they do. "Finance can prove a barrier and so can the bright lights. The location of a club's track, the quality of its stadium - there are so many factors that come into the equation. "I want to stress that we have been - and still are - working very hard on building a side, and there are a couple of riders we have missed out on who we would have liked to have signed. "But the team we put together will be one we will be happy with. And one that can enjoy success." Louis is set to continue his riding career next year, and former GP rider Jarek Hampel is also a confirmed starter at Foxhall alongside Robert Miskowiak and Tobias Kroner.think Chris is as disappointed as us that Steady chose Coventry, and it most certainly upset the plans

Johnston, Jansson and Schramm are the last 3 according to Mr Snackette on the Ipswich forum.

Oh well if it's true I'm pleased he's got fixed up, clearly you are not happy with that, but don't be too upset, you may be pleasantly surprised. Just as many were when he came to Coventry last season .

Alternatively your fears could be more than realised as when he joined Wolves!!!!! Will you lot lay off Johno. He was, during Oxford's aborted 2007 EL season, our rider of the year - sometimes (such as at Cov) carrying the team by himself. He then, after Oxford's closure, moves to Coventry and completely transforms the fortunes of the team. During his previous period at Oxford (1998-2002), he became a terrace favourite at Sandy Lane, and was a fine skipper of our 2001 EL winning-side. So the guy has won TWO top-flight league championships - which happens to be more than, for instance, Sam Ermolenko won. So lay off Johno.

If the final three are Johnston, Jansson and Schramm, it's doubtful whether it's worthwhile even starting the season - it's more or less over before it has even begun.

What about Martin Smolinksi ,Badge? Sadly he's not coming over this season is he? Don't forget Genghis, Johnno is an ex-Witch , and TBH our need is a good back up away rider to cover for Loobie, who struggles away from foxhall these days, and whilst Johnno will be excellent at reserve/second string, don't think he will mix it with the big boys anymore....mind the pits should be a sunnier place, can't be as bad as last year anyway

I'd say Zagar, while being risky, is a good option and, yes, a dose of weirdness would spice things up in Suffolk. Zagar, Hampel and the Weirdity would transform you into challengers, especially if Louis remains solid and you convince Miskowiak that March, April, May, June, July and August are all, in fact, September.

1. Zagar 7.42 2. Hampel 6.27 3. Louis 7.10 4. Kroner 4.89 5. Miskowiak 6.69 6. Schramm 3.00 7. J Rempala 3.47
38.84
With that team, it's happy days for the Witches.
