;D Judging by Ferrari's "hilarious" tactics today, they need Brawn back as well. I'd even take Irvine back over the current bunch of clowns. Seriously, I've lost my passion for F1 more than ever now.

;D Judging by Ferrari's "hilarious" tactics today, they need Brawn back as well. I'd even take Irvine back over the current bunch of clowns. Seriously, I've lost my passion for F1 more than ever now. Schumi, the 1999 season was an intirguing one, with Irivine waging psychological warfare against the two McLaren drivers and so nearly beating them (and but for Ferrari only putting three wheels on his wagon, he would have done). It was one season where I was firming cheering on Ferrari. EDIT: Today's qualifying slightly restored my faith in F1. The opening 20 minute was particularly intriguing, with so many cars posting similar times. To cheer me up furher, I'm going to find the youtube clip of Massa heading down the Singapore pits with the fuel line still attached to his car. FURTHER EDIT: Anyway, Schumi this season has answered who's best: Ferrari or McLaren. The answer is they're both as crap as each other.

I thought you'd had it with F1 and weren't watching any more, genghis?

Kimi is brilliant. ;D While the rest of the drivers are messing about for a re-start there's not time for, he says "bugger this" and goes for an ice cream. EDIT: And the mighty Button finally confirmed as the winner. With Ferrari on nil points after two races, after more dubious "strategy" today.

F1 certainly more interesting imo this season so far with the "lesser light" teams showing the likes of Mclaren & Ferrari how it's done.
Honestly thought that the coverage was delayed when I switched on this morning though, who's bright idea was it to start the race at 5pm local time? The sun starts to set in Malaysia at about 5:45pm!!!

The sun starts to set in Malaysia at about 5:45pm!!! And early evening rain in Malaysia is almost as predictable at this time of year.

The sun starts to set in Malaysia at about 5:45pm!!! Bernie Eccleston, who seems to currently be displaying all the brain power of a half-eaten Eccles Cake. He takes his little toy to all these weird and wonderful places because the local potentates are willing to pander to his ego and cough over the readies, but then he thinks about his "bread and butter" audience in Europe and foists stupid start times on the races.

Surely though, due to the heat, the race could have only started about an hour earlier.

Surely though, due to the heat, the race could have only started about an hour earlier. Surely they race in hotter temperatures in Bahrain, and soon to be Abu Dhabi? I don't think it's actually especially hot in Malaysia - usually somewhere around 30 celsius - but it's the humidity that's crippling.

It's only on that late so we, in Europe, can watch it at a reasonable time - nothing to do with the temperature.
Agree with Wacks it's more entertaining now, but today's race was a bit of an anticlimax.

I'm getting back into F1 now, after falling out of "love" with it.
It's nice to see some different names up the front of the grid and leaderboard instead of those poxy red cars.
Shame it had to finish early, but they were spot on about the weather though.

A heavy shower in the afternoon/early evening in pretty much pretictable at any time of year in & around KL. Can't see the heat would be a factor either Hatcham, as Wibbs suggests the temperature is pretty constant through out the day. A 3pm start local time would still only have been 8am in the UK which is quite reasonable still for the tv viewing audience. The race today was abandoned more to do with failing light than the rain which had as expected subdued within 30 minutes.
