Only a week between GPs this time, and we head off to Malaysia. Good news for Wibbs, as heavy rain is hitting the area, and isn’t expected to ease up over the weekend. Not such good news for Vettel, who takes a 10 place grid penalty for (harshly, I thought) being deemed the cause of the crash which took both himself and Robert Kubica out of the race in Australia.
Meanwhile, expect the designers to be working overtime, as KERS and the controversial diffusers are added to cars lacking them, in a bid to keep up with Brawn GP. So can Button make it two in a row, or will reliability get in the way? The weather will pose a problem, if it’s as predicted, but with his smooth driving style Jenson should be okay. It should also mean the teams don’t have to use those awful super soft tyres, as they don’t have to use both compounds under wet conditions.
The biggest obstacle for Button, however, could prove to be his team-mate, who seemed to be on a one man mission to break the track record just a few laps from the chequered flag and a Brawn 1-2. And that’s not to mention he seems to be following Lewis Hamilton’s example of “if you can’t pass him, hit him”. Perhaps he could put his energies to better use and give the Ferraris a kick up the backside.
Both qualifying and the race start live at 10am, on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

It is harsh on Vettel when you consider what Barrichello got away with. It's shocking that Vettel has been penalised and Barrichello got away with sanction. It seems that the Brawn team are the new "blue-eyed boys" of the F1 scene. Looks like Bernie and the son of a fascist haven't forgiven their Italian chums for comments made in the winter.

I see all the 'smart money' is on Ferrari.

I see all the 'smart money' is on Ferrari. Probably due to them topping the time sheets in practise. However, Raikkonen is having troubles with his KERS system, and both drivers need a swift kick up the backside to get motivated as it is. The Ferrari is capable of winning, although I'd question whether Raikkonen and Massa are the right drivers to do that. I wonder if Balinski's ever considered a career change?

I wonder if Balinski's ever considered a career change? Some of us wondered whether Barrichello had been swapped for Balinski last Sunday. And then we saw the Ferrari spinning and realised it was a Raikkonen-Balinski swap, if anything.

Gollob saved his bacon.

Bloody hell, genghis, you said Raikkonen's won "things". I think even you can't argue that Balinski's won "things" too, no matter how you rank them.
And Balinski doesn't do kamikaze - he leaves that up to the likes of Dryml. I think the word you're looking for is "enthusiastic".

;D Judging by Ferrari's "hilarious" tactics today, they need Brawn back as well. Hatcham - unless the diffusers are banned in a couple of week's time, you'd be a fool to back anyone bar the "diffuser three"
