It`s a welcome to our West country friends tomorrow for the first leg of some sort of trophy whose name escapes me at the moment Anyway,I`ll be there, and apparently so will my daughter I can`t believe I may have actually converted her to this speedway lark,or is she after something? Only time will tell. So,lets hope for another big crowd, and an even bigger stuffing for the Rebels, after all, they are English

Indeed they did Sub,it wasn`t a bad meeting to be honest, but I thought that the Wasps would be far too strong for the Rebels, especially with Sedgeman and Walker missing. Still, the Dietbow was flowing well, which made the day seem pretty reasonable in the end

Can`t be bothered to start a new thread, but it`s revenge time for the Wasps on Sunday, this time its for real,as Premier Trophy points are at stake. So hopefully we`ll not take it easy on the Rebels this time and inflict a good stuffing on our local rivals. Oh,apparently we have r/r for Kerr, that may help a bit ;D

And it`s Haines in as a guest for Frampton, who apparently hurt his leg at Coventry last night........ We still operate r/r for Kerr as well,it looks like it`s going to be a long day, hope the bar doesn`t run out of `Bow.

And after starting with a couple of maximum heat wins, the Wasps will be disappointed to have been held to a draw by the Rebels in Wales today: NEWPORT..461..M Lemon..3,2',2,2,1,3 = 13+12..C Kerr..R/R 3..J Haines..2,2,0,0,3 = 74..P Fry..2',0,1',2,3,0 = 8+25..B Werner..3,3,3,0,0 = 96..K Newman..2',0,2,0 = 4+17..J Holder..3,0,0,2' = 5+1SOMERSET..461..S Johnston..1,3,1,2' = 7+12..S Walker..R/R 3..J Sedgmen..1,1',3,1,0 = 6+14..E Kramer..3,4,3,2,2 = 145..C Gathercole..2,1,3,3,3,1' = 13+16..J Herne..1,0,0,1,1' = 3+17..T Brown..0,0,1',1,1 = 3+1Taken from: www.speedwayupdates.proboards103.comSo, that's one Premier Trophy points to the Wasps and two to the Rebels, not what dietbowers wanted. I'd imagine the 'bow is tasting a bit bitter tonight.

Actually, it's 1 point to the Wasps and then 2 points to the Almightys.
Track was awful today. More dirt on my trainers.

The track was o.k.,a little bit on the slick side, but with the wind and cloud cover we had,it was never going to be overwatered just in case of a shower..........what happened to the nice day we were supposed to have weatherwise? As for the meeting itself, I thought we threw it away more than a case of the Rebels getting back into it ;D Oh Nagger,it`s a shame you didn`t hang around long enough after the meeting to buy me a `Bow,perhaps next time eh ;D Whoops,I forgot to mention Fry`s victory in heat 14,worth the admission money on its own.
