And with the commencement of the new season, it's also time to restart the FOTW and Mutt's Nuts threads.
With the season not yet in full swing, we'll start off fortnightly. So the first winner will be announced on Saturday, March 28.
And I think we'll have the Old Momgol himself pick the first winner, if that's OK with him.

I would like to nominate Bernie Ecclestone, with his latest attempt to try to wreck F1. The man is a muppet, albeit a somewhat rich muppet.

I'd like to nominate Hans Andersen and Nikki Pedersen for not showing up at the Panther's P & P day yesterday at the EOES despite the event being publicised as such!!

I have a nomination. From the BSF, I was sent two messages by 'tigers4ever'. For those that dont know I have the cartoon tigger as my avatar, as I wanted to be more neutral than having a badge, and it was the only one of the selection that appealed.
Message 1 @ 5.52am this morning: HI, could you please change your "Tiger" to the current Logo? They're trying to get away from the "Cartoon" look!
Many thanks in advance. Jean M.
Message 2 @ 6.21am this morning: If possible, could you please change the Tiger (Tigger?!) logo you use on this forum to the NEW one, as the New Promotion are trying to get away from the "Cartoon" logo & into a new era as far as Mildenhall Speedway is concerned?! Many Thanks in advance. May I also point out that I'm just an ordinary supporter, & just because I'm married to "The Boss", I have no input into this Promotion whatsoever!
Jean M.

Numero uno, if I was a Mildenhall fan, I'd flat out refuse after that. Numero two, I'm not a Mildenhall fan! Numero three, why would I know she was the 'wife of the boss' when its not on her profile and I had no clue who she was? There was no point to adding that bit in as far as I can see....

I suggest a quick response to the PM's Rhidassa telling her to piss off and that you'll chose whatever avatar you want.

I replied with merely I'm not a Mildenhall fan, but a Lynn fan. Her clue may help me to identify her in visits to Mildenhall for a more personal response.

I'd like to nominate Jarek Hampel for firstly withdrawing from Swindons meeting last Sunday as he hadn't had enough practice, and secondly for flying back to Poland today when Ipswich really needed him as they were already without three of their team through injuries.

I hope this isn't a taste of things to come. We could well do without him buggering us about. Still......live and let live

Seconded Kev. Always quite liked Jarek, more for the fact he sounds Chinese when they interview him. But don't riders usually wait a couple of months before taking the piss ? This breaks all records - I fear a long season ahead for the long-suffering Ippo fans.

If louis was to do somethink about it rather than let hampel piss all over him then it would not happen . Louis must have known hampel was going to the lezeno press day instead of riding at Lakeside but choose to tell the fans a cock bull story so the bucks stops with him .

Maybe Hampel is still pissed off about being shafted before the play-off's last year.

Hampel has been missing meetings long before the play offs last year but he has louis in his pocket and can pick and choose his meetings with no fear of any punishment or loss of his team place thou i doubt he would give a shit if he did .
