Hi all, Just a quick update on Adam's website, we are changing one or two things this season but a feature that is up and running now is his new Blog. In his first entry you can read his thoughts on the new season and about his change from Jawa to GM engines in the UK. www.adamshields.com

Interesting stuff in his first blog about completely switching over to GM engines from Jawa. It's a shame to see the Czech concern being so completely bested by the Italian manufacturer. It should provide a fascinating insight into the goings on of a rider over the course of the season. Young Shields has always been generous to us and has readily agreed to interviews and I'm sure we all wish him a successful season.

Full marks to Adam for keeping us all up to date. I'm sure this will give us a very interesting insight behind the scenes over the coming season and I'm looking forward to reading it.

He's fine, after a slow first ride then a much better 2nd, his left hand got tangled in Joe Screen's back wheel in a tight first bend. He then did four laps with his little finger sticking out at an angle to complete the race.... The dislocated finger was put back in place and he thought it best to withdraw from the rest of the meeting to avoid any more damage. In his own words "I would have ridden on if it was a league meeting but I didn't want to risk it and not be fit for next Thursday""

Ouch. I know he said he feels fit, but still, that's got to hurt. Thanks for the updates - glad to have some good news.
