I understand that Jeremy Doncaster has been fairly scathing in his assessment of the merits of Ipswich's Marcin Rempala. Does this mean that Rempala, whose reputation in this country was largely built on a single ride in the SWC final in 2004, will be shown the door at Foxhall. And would this pave the way for a double dose of weirdness in the cruel, crazy town?

I think Ipswich have given Rempala more than his fair chance. He is way out of his depth but the most annoying thing is his apparent disinterest in doing anything about it. After most home meetings young Tobi Kroner will be out on the track having a bit of practice whereas Marcin goes straight to the changing rooms and then off home. Sadly the Ippo promotion choose to give poorly performing riders chance and chance again. As Marcin managed to get 6 points at reading on Friday, I can see yet another chance coming his way!

Where the fook did he find that from?? Must be genetic. Actually it's great to see him scoring well when I'm so used to seeing 0,0,0,0.

This bloke was nearly public enemy number one in Swindon tonight! Where the fook did he find that from?? No doubt been told there won't be a place for him in 2008 unless he pulls his finger out! Its a trick learnt from Bobby Miskowiak last season, ride well at the end of the season and you're guaranteed a spot for next year! Having said that, I've never seen him race with such determination as he did last night. He was quite entertaining!

Certainly a good night for the Rempala brothers, with the Weirdity putting in his best showing for the Bandits and Marcin finally getting it together for the Witches.

Much mirth when presenter announced that Marcin would be taking a rider replacement ride, instead of being replaced . Still must say he did ride well, and would of had more points if he hadn't blown that engine whilst in 2nd.

Having missed the "best meeting of the year" against Swindle, I was interesting to take a look at the new improved Marcin (Now with 50% extra points!") on Thursday evening. Very impressed I must say - much more grit and determination and it was so nice to see it too. Well done Marcin, keep that up and you can come back next season!
