And the televised meetings this week will be: Tarnow versus Czestochowa (5:30pm BST) Gorzow versus Zielona Gora (5:30pm BST) So, the big derby meeting between Gorzow and Zielona Gora is featured - should be a "white hot" atmosphere in Gorzow. In other news ahead of these meetings, the patience of Marta Poltorak has finally snapped, with Kenneth Bjerre and Davey Watt being dropped from the meeting against Leszno: www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2008/07/30/marma-bez-bjerre-i-watta/

Edit:
And the answer is, sadly, no. But he gave the world champion something to think about on the first couple of turns and then went backwards.

Can the Weirdity beat Nicki P? Go Weirdity go. Tee hee, Mrs Miggins. Tee hee. Edited to add: Bloody hell, Marta Poltorak would rather go with no rider at 5 than a poor performer?! Can you imagine if that happened here?

I suspect Ms Poltorak is cutting off her nose to spite her face - once she's taken a decision she doesn't reverse it. And she decided to drop Bjerre and Watt thinking she had replacements in mind. But, in one case, it turned out she didn't.

I think the more popular phrase is "lost the plot". She seems to have made some dramatic decisions in the hope she'd be seen to be making a stand, but it's backfiring badly this season.
Anyway, here are your aggregate scores:
Rzeszow 27-65 Leszno Wroclaw 41-48 Torun Zielona Gora 53-39 Gorzow Czestochowa 69-23 Tarnow

Actually, to add to that, having just checked the Polish league tables, it seems dropping Nicki was the worst decision she's ever made. I don't buy the financial situation when you consider that she tracks Zagar and Bjerre - reportedly expensive enough on his own. Mega Lada Togliatti, Czestochowa and Lejonen all at the top of the tables? Effectively, signing Nicki P is a legitimate way to buying the title, and no doubt a bumper load of sponsorship that comes with it.

But none of his sides have won the title yet, sexy. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Rzeszow had Nicki P last season, but didn't win the title. Hammarby had Nicki P last season, but they didn't win the title in Sweden.
