Well, I've watched it and watched it and then watched it again: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CA4ipInsYb0And I still can't see why Laguta was excluded. Okay, he lifts a little, but he is never out of control - Nicki P just simply gets himself into a bad place on the track and keeps going for a gap that was never there. Sube, blimey we agree entirely. Doesn't happen too often.

Nicki seems to think that everyone should just let him through because HE'S Nicki Pedersen. Young Mr Laguta obviously missed that memo! The reason he didn't turn left, as somone said earlier (?Schumi) was because his footrest was in Nicki's front wheel. Kind of difficult to turn left when you've got a mad Dane attached to your foot rest!!!

Which makes me think that Nicki leaned on him. Why does Nicki always seem to look to cause an incident when he is not winning this year?

Braveheart - Nicki P seems to have lost all his confidence this year and therefore is putting himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's weird how he and Crumpie have swapped over so completely - last year it was Crump who got injured in the World Cup.

Watched now and personally feel that Pedersen was a tad naive in underestimating Laguta and his style of riding. Then something got caught onto Laguta's bike...when Laguta finally managed to use his strength to re-align the bike, it was too late to avoid a nasty spill.

They certainly do Erik, and having now seen the incident i can see(as could the referee) that Nicki was completely blameless, turning out of bend four Laguta was mid track, and he just edged over and fenced Pedersen, not only should Laguta have been excluded but he should be banned for six months, however this is speedway so i dare say he'll find himself the recipient of a similar move before too long. Crazy thing is how so many people view things so differently when it involves a rider they dislike.

But I don't think Laguta did much wrong, he tried to close the gap on the outside to protect his lead, but not viciously as there was some space left. The unfortunate part was that the bikes hooked on to each other. Nicki must stand the risk for trying such a narrow pass, and could have let off the throttle a little and tried again on the next straight.
