Ok, back to business it is then, can't dwell on that humiliation forever .I bet Scott Nicholls is pretty smug at the mo either that or he's still pissing himself laughing.. Looking ok on the weather front so far, haven't seen the forecast though. I predicted a score of 50-40 for our competition..oh well eh..

Be interesting to see what sort of scoreline this meeting has. I'm more and more convinced that many of the results on Good Friday were just weird, rather than a reflection of the merit of the teams.

Not just weird but on the subject of the Ippo/ Lakeside results a tad suspicious that it now makes it near impossible for The Panthers to qualify, not that i'm complaining

Well the world will well and truly fall apart at Brandon this evening if the Bees don't wake up.
But I stand by my prediction that the current Coventry team will lose their away matches by double figures except Belle Vue.

And the final score at Brandon tonight was a win for the Bees (52-41), but Swindon won handily on aggregate. Indeed, Swindon didn't even need to bother sending Leigh Adams out in Ht 15. Better performances from Schlein and Harris tonight, but again it was Janniro that top scored, while Burza chipped in with some handy points. Biggest concern for the Bees at the minute has to be Andreas Messing.

Sub ,you are so right about Stan, he is so tidy and is different from heat to heat but he fought so hard tonight...sadly Andreas is struggling big time... A much better meeting than I expected, well done to Swindon, a good following from them on the first bend and I spoke to a lovely couple that had travelled from Hereford to watch them.. How embarrassing it was when Swindon drove up for their shield and it wasn't there ... and we waited and we waited ,only to see Allen Trump pottering along the dog track five minutes later to present it... get a grip Coventry Speedway..the score board is now defunct, the PA is shite and so is your organisation.. Oh, I forgot to mention "titch" Richard Franklin, who hit the fence( not the air bit) in the second half...it looked nasty, hope he's ok..

Burza does have a lovely style about him and he seems to be doing well at Brandon. But his away form is atrocious at the minute.

It's interesting chatting to different people tonight Sub, getting differing opinions ( before the meeting)...generally the downer unsurprisingly is with Schlein and Messing...I feel for Messing, he has no sponsors and his bikes are shit..( comes hand in hand I suppose) the strangest rider on the track is..... Simon Un- Steady, Jesus what is that all about....

That's Stead's biggest problem - he never looks far away from a nasty accident. He just locks up too much, with the risk of someone clattering into him.

I feel for Messing, he has no sponsors and his bikes are shit..( Ironic really.............Stanley agreed to loan him out to a 'professional promotion' and shortly after that, Sandhu did a runner........oh the benefits of hindsight.
