Nicki P's riding too - this line-up's looking good. From www.speedwayworld.tvWORLD Champion Nicki Pedersen has been confirmed at the head of a top-class line-up for Swindon's 60th anniversary celebration on March 15. Pedersen will not be racing in the Elite League this year but has agreed to take part in the Blunsdon showpiece where he will be amongst the favourites alongside home skipper Leigh Adams. Chris Harris, Emil Sajfutdinov and Kenneth Bjerre are three other 2009 Grand Prix riders who have accepted invitations, and there is also a strong contingent of current and former Swindon riders. This year's team members Simon Stead, Troy Batchelor and Jurica Pavlic will be joined by ex-Robins Lee Richardson, Mads Korneliussen, Charlie Gjedde and Krzysztof Kasprzak. Jarek Hampel, Niels-Kristian Iversen and Antonio Lindback complete the names announced so far, with one more to follow. Robins chief Alun Rossiter said: "It really is a world-class field and we think it is a great way to start the season. "Getting Nicki Pedersen to come here is great because he’s not riding in Britain this year. "Hopefully, it’s a field that will get the spectators excited and we’ll have a big crowd there on the night." Meanwhile, tributes have been flooding in following the death of Swindon legend Bob Kilby, who passed away over the weekend at the age of 64. Kilby rode in 556 meetings for the Robins with an overall average of 7.95, including 68 maximums. He also had spells with Exeter and Oxford.

I know where I'd go. Personally, I'd leave the decision until as late as I could. With Nicki's baby due in the first week of April, it's possible his plans might have to change last minute, although I'm sure if he can be there he will.

I wonder if the child of Nicki P will be born with three 6's visible on the forehead.

Oh no now I have a decision to make!!! Barker's farewell or Nicki P Well if Barker is anything like Norris he'll possibly be having another farewell meeting, but you won't get too many opportunities to see Emil Sajfutdinov in this country, or Nicki P for that matter.....a bit of a no brainer I'd say Mimi.

I know it is, but I'll feel like a bad eagle if I don't go to Barker's. I will wait til nearer the to decide, as the line up for Bjarne Pedersen's testimonial will help me decide.

It`s a good lineup for the meeting, but it looks increasingly likely that I won`t be able to make it,I have dropped hints to my driver that we could do both Newport and Swindon, but they seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
