So one more piece of Coventry speculation has been nailed now. Adam Roynon has opted to go on loan with the Brummies for 2008 rather than risk it in the EL.
He's a top lad and it would have been great to see him in a Bees race-jacket (not that they have those any more...!), but I have to say fair play to him for making probably a very smart decision.
If he can improve again at Birmingham he would have loads more confidence and would probably be an absolute shoo-in for 2009.
So who now for the Bees? Maybe the 'Messing theory' has something in it now.... Maybe Mr Auty will fancy his chances - although I think he is another for whom it could be a season too soon

He's a good young rider is Adam , but not near ready enough for the EL . Another season PL to establish himself as a heat leader will give him more of a chance with coping with the higher level in 2009 .
