A fine maximum from Bjarne in his final home meeting for The Pirates. He scored exactly twice as many as the Whinger too!!!

First leg scores: Poole 35, Coventry 40, Swindon 33 I'm happy with that. I still think we'll be the strongest over the three legs and have our hands on another trophy tomorrow.

Yes, Coventry seem to have a very firm grip on competitions this year. Seems a shame to split them up when it's obviously working so well. It's going to be a very interesting close season.

Personally I wouldn't change a thing, but I know that'll not happen. So yes it will be interesting, I just hope they hurry up and get it over with, the speculation will drive me nuts

Do you know when Cov. usually announce the team for next season? I've been told they are notorious for being late in announcing?

Normally one of the last, but if someone has to go, they like to line up their replacement before letting him go, Pratty usually plays his cards very close to his chest. As always so much depends on the pts limit and rules on GP riders etc etc.

Results from Swindon:
Swindon 35, Coventry 45, Poole 28.
Making the total over two legs:
Poole 63, Coventry 85, Swindon 68
Coventry are pretty much assured of the win tonight, barring any serious problems, and will lift the trophy in front of their home crowd.

"woohoo" as Genghis would say. I'm very happy with that performance Smoli didn't have a brilliant night, but another solid team performance. Even more enjoyable was watching the two member Poole teams performance crumble in front of my eyes.. ;D I can't see Swindon making up 17 points particularly in a three team tournament... So as Schumi say's, barring disaster we should have this one in the bag...

The only way Swindon stand a chance is if Poole contrive to concede a 5-1 every time they race the Swindon boys.

Coventry 36, Poole 21, Swindon 50
Making it very close an aggregate, but Swindon didn't quite do enough.
Final scores:
Poole 84, Coventry 121, Swindon 118
