Posted on BSF that Bournemouth will be riding in the new NL. Dugard may not be able to manipulate the NL into something he wants, but I bet Matt Ford will give it a good go.  |

Bloody stupid idea naming a Poole team Bournemouth. As if speedway doesn't have enough crazy rules, try explaining that one to a newcomer. Maybe if Swindon enter a team in the NL they could call themselves Hartlepool.  And to take this one step further Newport, for example, could enter a NL team running under the name of Poole.  Bloody stupid idea, or did I already say that? |

I have to say i thought exactly the same thing Kev, it was a rather bizarre thing to do, Bournemouth is hardly a sports crazed town, in fact its probably one of the nations least, so the locals are unlikely to be that enthused at the thought of their new sporting side, they may have been better off calling the new team Wimbledon, and running a few coaches from Tooting, we're desperate for anything in South London. |
