Schumi - or maybe on drugs? Amyl nitrate, by the sounds of it. There's another clue to the lyrics for young zonkers.

Going by Elite League performances ONLY. I'm sure KevH could provide stats to prove the above. Okay, but you can't hold riders like Gollob and his Holiness the Weirdity ransom to the tyranny of statistics. Their genius means they transcend such prosaic judgements. Their abilities can't be held captive by the chains of averages and such like.

I'm sure KevH could provide stats to prove the above. Even if I could Genghis, I wouldn't. Seriously though, the number one EL rider has to be Leigh Adams by a country mile!!

Even if that were the case Genghis, the fact is that Crump has 'done the dirty' on the EL this year and Leigh will be the undisputed all time Elite League #1 at the end of the season.

Kev - how does that affect Crump's overall average? Just look at his stats for 2006. No other rider has done that since the advent of the EL in 1997. Those are the cold hard stats, young H.

Done what Genghis; achieved an average in excess of 11? Leigh has achieved that twice since 1997. And let's compare their careers at Oxford.......Leigh brought the League Championship to Cowley, whereas Crumpie's highlight was punching Todd Wiltshire (a team-mate and fellow countryman).

Look, this isn't a popularity contest, otherwise my vote would to Leigh Adams as well. However, Crump's overall EL average is, I would think, higher than Adams's. And in 2006, wasn't his average something like 11.30-11.40?. Bascially the best league average since God in 1987.

Bascially the best league average since God in 1987. God was only 10 years old in 1987.

I think he's demoted 50 points for taking the pee. Taking the P? - does that mean he's now Crumie ;D He's still the best EL rider since 1997, though.
