I see where I went wrong. He was listed in the original line-up but was replaced by the mighty David Howe at the last minute owing to injury.
That GP was a bit vague as I was on the wrong side of too many scoops on the Robins' Scottish Tour!

There do appear to have been a lot of drop-outs at Krsko and it would be Lukas Dryml's last GP appearance of the season after the "Grin" introduced him to the Krsko air fence. And young Hancock was so mightily offended when Nicki P pulled the same stunt on him in Prague a year hence.

Definitely - no problem, I'm glad of the info to rectify my cock ups. ;D

Was Tony Rickardsson part of the Swedish team in the 2003 SWC? If so, why didn't he ride?

Does anyone know who Ronnie Genz rode for in 1962? He was with Oxford in 1961 - did he stay with them the following year?

Shields in for Zagar who was washing his hair that evening. Walker for Davidsson who was on his way to Vojens for the GP Challenge. Barker in for Buczkowski who had been called back to Poland for compulsory practice. Lemon was out after having corrective surgery (you'd have thought they'd have nipped a bit off at the time ;D) for ongoing sinus problems.

He had a further spell at Cowley between 1968 and 1971 (although he missed a complete season through injury, can't remember through memory if it was 1969 or 1970). In any case, he rode for Oxford in 14 seasons, a club record.

Beacuse with the effort Rickardsson put in riding for his country (i.e nil), they were better off without him. Rickardsson wasn't interested in his country or the clubs he rode for. The only person he was interested in was the bloke in the mirror. He was unforgivingly bloody crap at Oxford in 2006.

Okay, next question - which clubs did the following riders ride for in July 2005 (when they appeared in the British Final) please? Ben Barker, David McAllan, Andrew Moore.
