Well, it looks like the Messiah of the Conference League is heading to Poland to ride in the Szczepan Bukowski memorial meeting at Tarnow this weekend: www.msjspeedway.com/msj/?q=node/1228

How I smiled at the revealment of this. I found the full line-up yesterday and what a strange line-up it was.

d is an engine failure, w is an exclusion. Can't find the heat details, but from those scores I'd say the chances were one in five - pretty slim!

Amazingly, looking at sportowefakty.pl, it would appear that Smethills rode at No 13 and the Weirdity at No 16, so Smethills would have beaten Rempala when they met in Ht 4. A Smethills win and a Rempala engine failure by the looks of it.
