RACERS RIDE IN - MONDAY AT 8PM THE Reading Racers - as opposed to Bulldogs - visit Brandon for the first time since 1996 on Monday evening (8pm), handing a debut to highly-rated Pole Krzysztof Buczkowski. The Buildbase Bees are looking for their seventh consecutive Elite League victory after a weekend which saw League leaders Swindon lose out at Eastbourne, with the Eagles significantly helped by Coventry's Billy Janniro who scored 16+1 as a guest. Monday's meeting should produce some fascinating battles at reserve in particular with Bees looking to win and establish a good margin over the Racers to take to Smallmead for the return fixture next week. BUILDBASE BEES: Scott Nicholls, Olly Allen, Rory Schlein, Martin Smolinski, Chris Harris, Billy Janniro, Steve Johnston. READING: Matej Zagar, Krzysztof Buczkowski, Janusz Kolodziej, Mark Lemon, Travis McGowan, Jonas Davidsson, Sam Simota.

Whilst Johno has tailed off a bit lately, I'm hoping he'll pick up and score some good points at reserve, he certainly fights hard out there. The same goes for Martin but he's so up and down even race by race you never know what you're gonna get...

Not expecting a close meeting tonight to be honest, one or two of the Racers should do ok, but it's a rariety at the moment for all of them to be on song together. See on BSF that a few of the plastic coventry fans are already lining up excuses though just in case things don't go their way. Wonder if they were Poole fans in a previous life.

This one finished 57-36 with Buczkowski not having a great debut - scoring 0 from 3 and having a fall.
Olly Allen may have been named but it appears Coventry were operating R/R.

As expected Schumi, although KB did fall on the last bend of lap 4 in his final ride when holding 2nd place with Zagar first.
Get the impression like most poles he's out to impress and may get a little over excited at times. That I can handle. ;D

Wacks is right, if a rider is keen and tries to impress, he's worth persevering with.
In this situation the man management skills of the team manager come to the fore, and without knocking the stuffing out of the rider he has to get him to calm it a bit.

And with Tim Sugar as our TM we got just the man Kev.
Only problem is KB doesn't speak a word of English and I don't think Tim's Polish is too hot either!!!

Having watched the Peterborough v Poole meeting back this was boring in comparison. There was some really hard riding last night. I couldn't believe Martin Smolinski's shove on Travis Mcgowan, didn't think he had it in him, not sure how we would have reacted had it been the other way round though.
The track was awful, the stretch coming out of the second bend caught a few of them. In fact Rory Schlein came a cropper in the same spot the other week.
Buczkowski, struggled a bit, but it was starting to come together for him as the meeting went on. I reckon Reading are on a winner there!
Anyway all in all, a good win to put us back in second spot ;D
