So the Robins fly into town on Monday, chests all puffed out ,after their win over Poole. Our first meeting at Brandon, in over a month! ...and still the weather threats..We of course ,get our first chance, to welcome Johnno aswell...I suppose we need to hope that Mr Chrzanowski has the night he had on Wedsnesday as opposed to the night he had in the ELA fixture...anyway not normally one to go with predictions..I think we might just sneak this..obviously, with better performances from the usual suspects....Really looking forward to this, should be another cracker ;D

Is this to be the Sky meeting? Could be a decent fixture for the viewers. I honesty think Swindon could win this meeting, especially if Chrzanowski is on the ball. The Bees will need the beggar to have a meeting and a half.

A lot could depend on Smoli. He is potentially a match winner, but is far to erratic. He had a great year in 2005 and i said he would build on that to be better in 2006 than Morten.Unfortunately he hasn't gone on.Like some on the BSF(Chivs is one of his biggest critics)have said he has been pretty well permanently in the reserve spot for the 3 seasons. There have been worrying stories that he is thinking of packing speedway up.Maybe his mind isn't totally focused. But this is the year of the big German GP and all the guys should be trying their hardest to get that wildcard spot.Martin did have a good meeting in Denmark last week getting 12+2 and beating Kenneth Bjerre a couple of times on what was Bjerres home track for a few years. So it shows the guy has the potential. He could be the one that keeps TC quiet. Will it happen or will he get put in another poor performance?

Neither Smolinski or Risager have made the type of progress expected. You get guys saying that Risager is "still only 19 years old", but you get the feeling in ten years time they'll be saying he's "still only 29 years old". I think it's time to swallow hard and admit that Risager isn't a new Nicki P, nevermind a new Gundersen or Nielsen. As for the German GP wildcard, I still say Egon Muller should get the nod - just don't let the bugger sing.

Quick question to the owner and god of this board, do you call Olly and Tommy Allen, the 'Greater Allen' and 'Lesser Allen' as you do with the Compton brothers ?

Chrzanowski rode for Gdansk in Poland yesterday, so I can't imagine why he wouldn't be at Brandon tonight. I guess there's a reason, but to me it's just another example of the dumbing down of the Elite League.
