Just been reading the BSF thread on last night's meeting between the Bees and Panthers at the EoES. It looks like a lot of eyes are being opened to the true abilities of the beggar. One Coventry poster, clearly very astute and insightful, even recognises that the beggar's "saving grace" is in pushing his not inconsiderable weight around on the 1st turn. Trouble is, at the rate things are going, there'll be no terminally deluded types left by the time I get to Brandon. The citadel of shame will already have fallen, the bastion of delusion a mere pile of rubble. And what fun will that be?

Funny that it appears that even Ipswich don't want him. Yes, that's right - the team who'd have been greatful to have any number one in their line-up have said no thanks.

Don't worry Sub, there are still plenty of non-forum members who worship the beggar, I know cos I sit by 'em... ;)whilst I will go along way to defend him...I find that time and time again watching him ride ,whether it be on Sky, or at a meeting, I'm willing him on so much, then end up deflated and fustrated...alot of the reason for that is i want to see him stick two fingers up at his critics ( one in particular ;D)....that said..a couple of times at Brandon this year , he has shown moments of absolute brilliance! But thats just not good enough certainly not when mixing it with the likes of Nicki , in the GP's. I'm not so sure, that he is as happy at Coventry as we're been led to believe. I don't know ,but something isn't right. Rest assured that Sandhu wants Silverware BIG time...not only is he a shrewd business man, he loves sport, despite what's said about him he wants to make a success of Coventry, and that means no-one is indisposable...I don't expect Risager to be only one sacked this season...Sandhu is getting fed up with the wasters..I know for a fact he was intrumental in the release of Risager, telling CP that enough was enough..Mr J is sailing very close..Not sure how safe Martin is either( not good) .As for Scott, well it remains to be seen. Obviously, when you passionately follow a team , you not only want them to do well but also each rider in any individual competition that may take part in...and of course he's a Brit ;D so I'm sticking by him, as you'd expect ;D

Sad thing is that with the EL in total meltdown the GP riders will jump ship and concentrate on Poland and Sweden . Leaving Nicholls , Richardson , Howe and the ilk as the number one riders in their teams . A terrifying thought for people brought up with the notion that the British League is the best league in the world .

Scottie is one of my favourite riders, in his time at the bees he has proved to be an outstanding captain and has contributed majorly to our recent success, he is starting to turn his form around now after struggling with a few issues.
Will he ever be a world champion? no I dont think he will. Is he in the top 15 riders in the world? yes he is.
