FlyinPanther, I misread the topic title when you were the last poster - scrolling down I thought I read the words 'Fly House 2009'. I was going to make an inappropriate joke, with regard to what may potentially attract the flies.

From the BSPA:
RYE House star Tommy Allen could be out for six weeks and will miss the Rockets' initial Premier League fixtures.
Allen is suffering a wrist injury which also means the Rockets will be without him in the Knockout Cup at Birmingham.
Team boss John Sampford said: "It's a major blow to lose Tommy just ahead the first Cup and League matches. There's never a good time to pick up an injury."

Indeed, it must have done. BSPA reports:
TALENTED British teenager Joe Haines will make his racing return at Rye House on Saturday.
Haines, who suffered neck injuries three months ago, will ride for the Rockets in their double header against King’s Lynn and Birmingham (6pm).
Rockets chief Len Silver said: “It’s a tremendous boost for both Joe and the team to have him on the way back. The injury could easily have ended his season.”

RYE House star Robert Mear appears unlikely to be able to make a comeback from injury this season.
The Rockets' heat-leader has suffered a broken knuckle, and the healing process is likely to take at least another month.
Team boss John Sampford said: "Robert's consultant has said that he's broken the joint and finger so badly that he doesn't feel surgery will be of any use."

That's a shame but he'll be a certainty for Uncle Len in 2010 he still has massive potential and will come on a relatively cheap average of 6.81... Look forward to seeing the tassled one in 2010..!
