I've always had an awful lot of time for Coventry's owner Avtar Sandhu and his speedy offer to honour the season tickets of Oxford supporters at Brandon has once again confirmed my high regard for him. To have third party supporters attempt to dismiss Sandhu's actions as the opportunistic moves of a parasite is disgraceful in my opinion. Sandhu, I believe, is a man of great honesty, decency and integrity. Perhaps such characteristics are so rare in the world of speedway, that people aren't capable of recognising them? Top marks from Subedei from Avtar Sandhu. And, if you read this young Sandhu, prepare for this old Mongol to storm the bastion of delusion on August Bank Holiday Monday.
Edit:
Apparently Chris Brown thinks Sandhu's offer "a little callous". Does anyone appreciate the harm that this character does to Oxford speedway?

err....I think you need to cast your eye over the" Johnno to the Bees " thread.....He thinks Sandhu has brought in Johnno ,in order to get the Oxford fans coming to Coventry..........oh yeh of course he's infinitely more entertaining than the new British Champion........and they'll be travelling far and wide to see him...utter rubbish......

Yes, I saw that earlier. I can only think that the shock of Colin Horton turning out to be, as many predicted, a false prophet has caused him to temporarily lose his marbles. Hopefully soon he'll be toadying up to Jonathon Chapman and all will be well with the world again, unless you're Jonathon Chapman that is.

Makes you wonder if Chris bought a season ticket, doesn't it?

To be fair, Browny is one of speedway's decent characters. He's Oxford (at least with respect to the speedway) through-and-through, and works hard to support whoever is the incumbent promoter. Perhaps some of the promoters aren't deserving of his loyalty, but he's a doer whereas I'm a cynic who carps from the sidelines.

But he's a doer whereas I'm a cynic who carps from the sidelines. And I'm a troll who, presumably, does things a troll does.

Yes, you're probably right. And I may have been a little harsh and unfair to young Brown. But I do suspect that his devotion to Oxford speedway has blinded him to the realities of a variety of situations. However, I'm happy to apologise for any offence caused to the fellow by my postings.
