Who's the Briggo with these? Not the NZ four time world champion, surely? He must be 80 years old by now. His son? I'm confused. Help needed

The legendary Barry Briggs isn't quite 80, but he'd heading in that direction - he'll be 74-years-old in December, I think. As for his son Tony Briggs, well he started his career with Reading in 1980 but retired after a near-fatal crash at Coventry in 1981 in which he broke his neck. But even Tony Briggs is now 46-years-old.

And the "wonder wheel", apparently. He's a regular Thomas Edison, is Mr Briggs Snr.

Interestingly, I came across an interview with Tony Briggs, who looks more and more like his legendary father, while watching the following Ekstraliga meeting: www.itvp.pl/player.html?mode=0&channel=452&video_id=34316The interview, which just lasts a few minutes, is around about an hour into the meeting.
