Taken from this week's Speedway Star:
Question marks still surround the participation of Panthers skipper Ryan Sullivan in the relegation play-off. The Australian racer's [sic] short-term deal has expired and club bosses are yet to learn whether he will line up against Wolverhampton. Speaking on Tuesday, Bratley added: "We will be making contact with Ryan and establishing his availability next week." Were Sullivan to be unavailable he would be with-holding his services and Panthers would be forced to utilise guests.
How the hell can a rider whose deal has expired be deemed to be with-holding his services? This kind of nonsense guest facility is why British speedway is in the mire. It's a sick joke. When will "have a facility" stop being the BSPA's answer to everything?

How the hell can a rider whose deal has expired be deemed to be with-holding his services? British speedway has long since given up any pretence of having proper rules.
