Berwick won their semi (100-90) on aggregate, and will meet Workington in the final, after the Comets beat Redcar (94-90).

Dates of the final are:

25.10.08..Berwick v Workington
26.10.08..Workington v Berwick

Adrian Rymel is absent for both legs, and Tai Woffinden guests in his place.

Can the much-maligned Peter Waite bow out of Berwick speedway on an incredible high, or will the barbarians spoil his party?
I guess we'll find out over the weekend.
Tai Woffinden is a very good guest to cover for Rymel, while I'm sure the barbarians will have just as useful a guest to cover for Daniel Nermark.
I personally think much depends on Carl Stonehewer.
