Readings last home EL meeting of the season tomorrow when they take on BV, with Racers legend PER JONSSON making a rare apperance at Reading as we near the 20th anniversery of his track record being set.
Last meeting against the two teams at Smallmead turned out to be an entertaining meeting, hoping tomorrows meeting serves up much of the same. Looks like the battle of the reserves will be interesting.
Line ups:-
Racers
1. Davy Watt (guest for Zagar) 2. Jonas Davidsson 3. Janusz Kolodziej 4. Mark Lemon 5. r/r (Trav McGowan) 6. Krzys Bucky 7. Sam Simota
Aces
1. Simon Stead 2. Joel Parson 3. Joe Screen 4. Adam Skornicki 5. Kevin Doolan 6. Antonio Lindback 7. Billy Forsberg

Have to say well done to BV tonight. To come from 10 points down, with only two riders firing on all cylinders, away at Reading, deserves a special mention. Not sure what's got into Lindback lately, but I'm thinking he may not be Poole-bound as some would like to believe, and that he's picked up his performance with a view to staying at Kirky Lane.

It's nothing short of a disgrace that riders like Lindback, Janniro and Johnston get the opportunity for easy points as a reserve.

Couldn't give a toss about the final score - don't actually know what it was but know we lost.
Fantastic just to see Per again at Reading looking right at home. It's quite amazing that someone who had so much taken away from him by the sport still has such a love for it as well.
Just hope the fact that some bastard nicked his wife's handback outside a hotel in Reading this afternoon containing their passports etc doesn't put him off coming back again.
Quote of the night from the great man himself when asked what he thought track conditions once the rain started....... "greasy as fuck!!!!" That shut Radford up for a second or two. ;D

FFS, what kind of reptile would do that - let's hope they rot in hell!!! Sickening isn't it Kev Thankfully it didn't seem to spoil Per's evening last night. Report from last night can be found at www.getreading.co.uk/sport/2015/2015252/speedway_jonsson_robbed_on_way_to_smallmeadSmall crowd last night, but I think 75% of them made their way to the bar after the meeting to see Per Made sure I got in there quick as well to get my picture taken and have a quick chat with my hero. ;D
