It says something on Smederna's website about it being cancelled because of a lack of equipment. I just assumed it was all tied in, and down to funding.
Would it not have been possible to run in the Allsvenskan?

Good grief - will there be a Swedish League left by the time Braveheart, KevH and myself get there in August? ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) It's already lost 2 teams. ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png)

Would it not have been possible to run in the Allsvenskan? no that is just old new i think. The micro bikes are new from this season and i think the company that provided them had some delivery problems earlier this year. And no Allsvenskan with Smederna would not be a good solution since then we still would have the debts. I think though that Team Bikab will be able to ride in Allsvenskan next season (if they can find fundings) since if one two team are promoted there will be a lack of teams in Allsvenskan.

With the transfer window in Sweden looming, other clubs will be looking to use Smederna's riders. Rumours are that Allsvenskan side, Valsarna, want to take back Mikael Max in a bid to move up to the Elitserien. The Hagfors side were offered a place in Elitserien at the beginnng of the season, but declined due to finances. This year, however, they have said their goal is to move up.
Elsewhere, Jeremiah Thelaus makes a comeback from injury tomorrow (Wednesday) in a division 1 meeting.

about Smedernas riders, i think Zorro to Indianerna but Indianerna then needs to get rid of a rider since they already have 9 riders in their squad.
My speculations:
Batchelor to Vargarna King to Rospiggarna Jagus to Piraterna Max to Valsarna Zorro to Indianerna Kasprzak to ?? Buczkowski i doubt he gets a new ride in Sweden Miskowiak probably no new team either. Vaculik shouldnt have any problems to find a new club.

It's okay, they're already going to finish bottom - no need to wish that upon them. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) Not so sure about this one. I think out of all of them Jagus will find it hardest to get a spot because of his average. Can't see Piraterna picking up the wage bill for him when they already have a decent squad either, but time will tell. Max should be snapped up - he was awful last year, but this year he's flying.

well King is actually quite desired among other teams and their fans he have had 3 poor meetings in the end but apart from those he have been doing very well during is time for Smederna but everyone have dips in their form.
And Stefan Andersson have actually said that they might be intrested in Hagus because hi steam havent been doing good this year and he said they could need someone like Jagus.

Batchelor to Vargarna Kasprzak to ?? Troy Batchelor to Vargarna? Quite possibly as they were interested earlier this season. Would most likely be on the expence of Edward Kennett who has a starting average way to high in comparison to what he actually scores. Also swap Screen for Kasprzak and Vargarna would have an interesting team... Nicholls 6.99, Batchelor 7.15, Kasprzak 6.56, Miedzinski 6.20, Shields 6.59, Skornicki 4.41 and Nilsson 4.07 (= 41.97) Would be hard on Woffinden though... Can only see this if he supposed to be a short term replacement for Sebastian Ulamek, OR if they choose to go with a reserve partnership of Daniel King and a 2.00 junior (Robin Burestad) instead of Travis McGowan/ Jonas Messing. Can't see team manager Mikael Messing doing that to his son (Jonas). Could happen as Piraterna is one of a few teams able to fit him in under the 42.00 maximum average limit. Tomasz Chrzanowski will be the one to leave if that's the case, and the management can then go with a line-up of: Jagus, Dobrucki, Davidsson, Lindbäck, Balinski/Sajfutdinov, Nermark and Sundström. The Pirates could use some top end strength. Makes sense, as he has publicly stated how he enjoyed last season at Indianerna. Matej Ferjan could be the victim, especially if he doesn't score much tonight. "Zorro" and Jesper B Monberg as second strings would be a good duo. Max to Valsarna Vaculik shouldnt have any problems to find a new club. As you wrote in another post, Max won't be heading for Valsarna. Wherever he goes, he should be a good contributor. He isn't a favourite of mine, but he's had one heck of a season. Vaculik should be fixed up indeed, but I can't figure out where. Buczkowski i doubt he gets a new ride in Sweden Miskowiak probably no new team either. With Miskowiak going back to Britain, I don't think he is that interested to ride in Sweden as a third country. Buczkowski is a different matter and could to a good job in Allsvenskan on a 8.75 average. With limited riding, he should be willing to ride in Allsvenskan, to keep match fitness. Griparna could do worse than to target Buczkowski. Filip Sitera and Simon Nielsen have redicously high averages, Oliver Allen is often injured and Kenneth Hansen's committments in Britain could cause problems, so Buczek would be a good fit, or Martin Vaculik for that matter. (Niklas Klingberg, Juha Hautamäki, Krzysztof Buczkowski, Andreas Lekander, Kim Nilsson, Jonas Andersson, Sebastian Carlsson = 44.82 / 45.00)

KKs problem is that he is relatively expensive ( i think?) but is similar to Jonas D when it comes to the scoring sometimes good sometimes mediocre and sometimes well ****.
King has showed that he can ride very well. I think his lack of form at the moment has to do with engine problems and the concussion he suffered a few weeks ago. If he can find his form from last year he would be a good addition to any team.
Zorro still pretty good no steady scorer but usually do ok.
Max better and better for each meeting . A very good point/average ratio.
Jagus not as good as he was but still pretty steady scorer.
Buczek well he is a good fighter but haven't been himself since a severe crash last year.
Troy haven't been riding much good in the premier not many points in the rest of his meetings. He have been injured for quite some time as well so im not sure about his form.
Miskowiak to my disappointment he havent ridden att all this season. He should have got the chance instaead of Buczek for the home meetings.
Linus EKlöf not sure about him He is registered for Team Bikabs squad but is contracted by Smederna and usually rides in England on Wednesdays. He have been quite disappointing...this season too no progress what so ever.

You were right and I was wrong, ghostie - Jagus signs for Piraterna: www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/07/08/jagus-znalazl-nowy-klub/
