But not so great to hear that Billy Hamill was taken to hospital - here's hoping it's nothing too serious and that the "Bullet" will be back on track very soon.

Yep, seems like the Racers put up a fairly solid show tonight and a huge well done to them.
Let's hope Billy Hamill's injury's aren't too serious though!!!

Both Billy & Hansen taken to hospital with possible spinal injuries. Hopefully both aren't too bad. Hansen looked a bit ragged in his first ride falling & remounting to take 3rd after Neath had already fallen. He hit the fence exiting the 2nd bend in his 2nd ride stopping the bike dead. Did a complete forward flip over the front of the bike & looked to land on his back. He did managed to get up and make his way to the centre green before the medics got to him though. Last we heard at track he was just going in for x-ray which were hoped were just precautionary. Hamill tangled with Karlsson in ht 7 and was down on track for quite some time. Was apparently complaining of pain in his upper body and was also taken off to hospital to be checked over. Good win for the Racers but sad to see two riders taken off track in ambulances. Racers would have won in any case, but the injuries did take the shine off things a bit for us. Buck had a better meeting. One of those riders who makes you close your eyes sometimes when he's on track tho. Trav looked a different rider to the one we've seen recently, Lemo had a decent night too. That 2nd heat leader role doesn't seem to be causing Janusz too many problems at home, he's posted double figure scores against Poole, Coventry and now Wolves in his last 3 meetings at home. Neath was shit again. (sorry mini-lupus)

Just hope Billy and Hansen are OK. Was this the reason why the meeting finished with the curfew or was it because it started late with the Reading Festival being on?

I think there was quite a delay with the ambulance having to come out twice. I'll add I also hope Billy and Ken are okay - I have a bit of a soft spot for Hamill, but nothing on his or the Wolves' website yet. Edit: should also add my congratulations on a much needed win for the Racers, and a brilliant score from Travis McGowan.

Meeting finished early because of 10pm curfew. Have never known of a curfew at Reading before though, ref was Frank Ebdon and knowing how he likes meetings to be done & dusted by 9pm maybe he was getting pissed off knowing his coco was getting cold at home.
There were 2 lenghly delays when Hansen & Billy had their accidents both riders being down on the track for quite some time. A county ambulance was called to take Hansen to hospital, but none were available to take Billy so the track ambulance took him away. Obviously racing couldn't continue until the ambulance & medic returned.
Fingers crossed too that both riders are ok, Hansens fall was quite spectacular, but I think there was more concern about Billy, especially following the back injuries he sustained a while ago at Swindon.
Schumi - Trav was a happy bunny last night, rightly so too. He looked fast & back to the rider we know his is.

Neath was shit again. (sorry mini-lupus) - We're taking her to see him at Stoke tonight though so she won't really care! It says on the Official Wolves site that Billy has chipped a bone in his neck but just needs to rest and that Hansen has whiplash - which is kind of consistant with Wacks description of his crash! SOOOOO glad I'm not paying out £25 to watch a patched up team on Monday!

Sadly, it looks like Chris had another bad night tonight - after his sensational performances for The Hammers earlier in the season it's sad to see........ maybe he's burnt himself out....... but without any shadow of doubt he has enough talent to ride through this bad spell and get back to winning ways!
