Another month , another fresh injury . Last Sunday's final piece of action before the rain put paid to things saw the Trainee Messiah end up in the fence . It transpires that he has broken his thumb , plus damaged ligaments in his thumb also . He has been told he will be out for a minimum of 6 weeks - therefore that's his season over . Anyway this week we have the, much looked forward to , David McAllan benefit meeting . The wee man still has problems walking and it's been a slow healing process , since that fateful day when Phil Morris ended his career . A bumper field , which is not yet finalised , but includes Steve Johnston , Kauko Nieminen and Robert Eriksson as well as the Tigers and a sprinkling of Monarchs and Comets . David deserves a bumper crowd and i demand the rain clouds piss off somewhere else on Sunday .

Totally agree with you mate, Wee David deserves a sunny day and speedway derserves a dry day. September also sees the Bandits visit the Messiahdome in the re-arranged PL fixture. Pity the rain ruined last Sunday as i thought the Bandits could have sneeked 3pts and of course the Weird Bees were in town. Ach well see you on the 14th

Shame about Tero not racing.
Spoke to him a few weeks ago and he couldn't wait to get to Ashfield, says he loves the track

Mind you , his replacement on Sunday is pretty useful at Ashfield too .
