Is the current Wolverhampton team, plying its trade in the weakest of Elite Leagues, the worst team in the history of top flight British speedway? Hammered out of sight by a poor Belle Vue team at Kirkmanshulme Lane tonight.

Swindon 1983 would lose 60+ to them!

Whilst I agree the current Wolves team is shite Oooogen is right the 1983 Swindon team was truly AWFUL. Sadly I was supporting the Robins then and am a Wolves supporter now.....I'm starting to think its me!

I remember a certain chap on here tipping Wolves for great things this season. (PS. I did too) Yes, it's all gone wrong for Wolverhampton. I thought they'd done a good job in the winter. But none of their riders have done anything at all. Lindgren has been a poor leader. And his troops haven't been any better. Sad to say, I was wrong. But I was right about Coventry. And Swindon in 1983 had to have Phil Crump, so they did have something. This Wolverhampton team have nothing. I think Phil Crump would beat them all now.

Well, Puk is listed as riding on the Wolves' site, so I can only assume he's declared himself fit.
