Can't believe this thread. No alcohol for some people tonight as they can't take it without taking it out on the wrong people

Holy Schmoly! This forum seems set to implode in a horrible mess of insanity. Get help, some of you. I think you need it. Plus a visit from Mrs Doasyouwouldbedoneby.
Madness I tell you. Madness. Slagging people off in writing is not a nice thing to do. Didn't your mummies ever tell you that?
My nomination for Flapperjack of the Week - the whole bleeding lot of you.

Well, it's considerably shorter than it was last night. But unfortunately for hizzy, most of the quotes are still there, along with a particularly nasty PM in my inbox.
Edited to say: as far as I'm concerned it's the end of it.

People constantly have a go at Sandie for this - fact is though that she DOES know Rory - she runs his bloody fan club for goodness sake! As a result of this she also knows his parents - should she just not mention them or something lest it offends someone who chooses to see it as name-dropping? To be honest Sub - I have absolutely no issue with the way you've phrased your comment above - it's an honest opinion, intelligently phrased. What I do have a problem though is the seemingly needless and random way that others have used Rory's name coming up to have yet another repetitive dig at Sandie! The problem, as I see it, is two fold. First off, Sandie often comes across as someone who goes out of her way to be best friends with riders and their family. And as someone not averse to the rest of the world knowing of her "connections". It annoys some, irritates other and amuses others (me, hence my "throw away comments" on the BSF and here earlier). Secondly, Rory Schlien doesn't come across as the most "sympathetic" of characters and a lot of people aren't devastated when he fails. And he has failed an awful lot this season, culminating in his being dropped by the Bees. Moving the thread away from the current 'situation'..... Sub's post just about sums up my feelings too. Sandie is someone who evokes mixed emotions in me - and I'm sure she'd say the same about me - whilst I find her a friendly person (and credit where its due she has been really sweet to my daughter on several occasions) I can't stand name-doppers. Over the years I've been friendly with a number of riders but have never felt the need to make reference to it on a regular basis. No-one is in any doubt that Sandie runs Schlein's fan club....she makes sure people don't forget! Lady Robin and I used to run Bo Petersen's fans club MANY years ago and we were happy to let people know this...BUT we were 18/19 at the time not old enough to be a grandma! t that is the way it is...and as hortonfan also pointed out Sandie does seem to have a pet moderator on the BSF (now I WONDER which one ) and any critisism of her 'pals' seems to be gone a lot quicker than things about other riders. As I say Sandie is a nice enough woman but there are some things that do annoy me. Just like there are things that annoyme about other forum members both here and on the BSF!
