I cannot see us scoring much more than 30-35 points with that team. And maybe that's being optimisitc. If Bjerre rides as well there tonight as he did last night then we could be looking at say 12 points from him, Lukas...maybe 7 or 8. Henning 5, Vissing 4, King 6, and Kozza.....well I don't know anything about him, so have no clue. We need Coventry to have lots of ef's tonight to even make our score look respectable.... C'mon boys.....prove me wrong !

And - as expected - this one ended in a comfortable win for the Bees (59:36), but it came at some cost, as both Simon Stead and Robbie Kessler were forced to withdraw from the meeting after a Ht 7 crash - it appears that Stead has suffered a broken collarbone. For the Bees three riders scored paid maximums: Hans Andersen (13+2 from 5 rides), Chris Harris (14+1 from 5 rides) and Oliver Allen (10+2 from 4 rides), while Ben Barker scored an impressive 13+2 from 7 rides. For Peterborough, Daniel King top-scored with 15 points from 7 rides, including a 4 point T/S ride in a heat which contained only one Bee. Kenneth Bjerre scored 10 points from 5 rides, including a 6 point T/R ride. And, as those of you who know who to add up, that accounts for 25 of Peterborough's 36 points, which doesn't leave an awful lot for the remaining four riders.

Stead and Kessler were able to walk away after treatment, which was remarkable in itself, but Stead has suffered a suspected broken collarbone and Kessler hand and arm injuries, and both were taken to hospital for X-rays. From Coventry's website. Not a good week for injuries. Edit: confirmed broken collarbone for Stead: www.british-speedway.co.uk/news.php?extend.1793
