Thought I'd start a new thread, as I'd tucked it away where it might not have been noticed. Jonas has, according to papers this morning, punctured his lung in Smederna last night. www.ekuriren.se/ekuriren/avd_sport.php?avdelning_1=106&avdelning_2=112 He was involved in a crash in the first heat with Bjarne Pedersen, and hit the fence in almost the same place as Kim Jansson earlier in the week. Apparently it shook the team up a bit (although the meeting did continue). More news as I have it. And all the very best of wishes to Jonas for a speedy recovery.

That's a real shame for Jonas who's generally had a blinding season for the 'Ammers. Hope he's not out for too long.

Sad to hear. He was fast becoming my star of the season. Looks like Polonia will have to turn to Stead for the play-offs...good god.

Both Polonia and Lakeside will be hit hard by Jonas' injury.......maybe, just maybe a deal could be done between the two clubs whereby assets are shared and each team's season could be Sajfed?

Some amazing news posted on the Lakeside website is that Jonas Davidsson has vowed to be back in time for the play-offs!!!
Jon Cook is now holding back on any changes to the team as he doesn't want to jeopardise Kauko Nieminen's place in the team.
The bad news is that it's been confirmed that Adam Shields has broken his back.........although the doctors are saying he will make a full recovery.........and that, naturally, is the most important thing.
