Yet another of the BSI changes is swept away as Malcolm Holloway appoints Tim Sugar as team boss of the Reading Racers: www.readingbulldogs.com/news.php?extend.697But why, oh why, hasn't Holloway moved Reading to a new domicile on the world wide web?

I Can answer that Sube, hes trying to sort out everything as quickly as possible, IE Track staff, track surface, Stadium and new stadium, Greg Hancock, Janusz (up to his polish team, but Mad Wellie has made it quite clear if they wanna keep him longer, then he will get a replacement) and Team manager situation which has now been sorted.
Racers site will come last, which ill admit if i was running the club, id leave it to then

I'm just guessing, but I'd imagine that Reading Speedway have more than one person available to them to take on tasks, and I'd be suprised if the guy in charge of the track issues or stadium issues was the same as the one in charge of their web presence. Surely these things don't need to be done in a perfectly linear fashion, they culd be done simultaneously.

Nah u see Henners, if they remove the bulldog site and replace it with The Racers, thats no good this early on, we need the bulldog logo etc left there, just so all the fans can remember what a stupid fucking name it was

Whilst it's humiliating to see that looney toon logo still associated with the Racers, I can live with it a bit longer if the new promotion are sorting out other more important issues first.
Good job they haven't gone overboard on the promotional front really since they took over with the bloody weather we've had. But reducing kids prices back down to a quid is a step in the right direction. Employing a team manager who knows how & when to use his riders to the teams advantage is also a master stroke. I'd have money on it that if Tim was TM last October we'd be current EL champions.
All we need now is a nice dry monday to finally get to see those Racers wearing that whinged wheel again.
