Did the Grand Monarch panic as Glasgow had just taken a 25-23 lead . Why? If as you say he is a Monarchs fan then he would be pleased that Worky were losing. So that blows your theory oot the windae ;D

So we're off again. And with a new week, will we have a new winner? I expect so, because Lord Flapperjack is no longer in the foreground at the Showground. And no doubt with Lord Flapperjack how heading Olsen by 5 to 4 in the FOTW stakes, Olsen will put in a concerted effort to level matters with a GP looming on the horizon next weekend. Jacques, you can choose the FOTW winner this week if you like. Are you around next Saturday? No thanks. In that case: Hortonfan, would you like to choose FOTW on Saturday?

Doh!!!!!!!!!! Tell me something I don't know and you missed the point Midnight Lady - I havenae missed the point. Workington are not going to league the win whatever happens the rest of this season. They have already lost 8 away matches and drawn 2 home matches (i.e. 26 dropped points) and that's too many. It's Somerest you need to worry about. So McGregor could have called off last night's meeting just to spite Glasgow. IF he's an Edinburgh fan.

Jason fucking Doyle who seems to have led the campaign to get tonights meeting at Smallmead called off.
His persistant whinging finally got to the spineless ref who should have told the Somerset riders at 7pm to shut the fuck up & get out on track & at least give it a go tonight.
I hope the wheels come flying off the rebels league challenge. Seems they are prepared to ride their own track when it's wet and even when it's been underwater an hour before tapes up, but get them to an away track that's wet where there's a sniff that they'll be turned over good & proper because they can't rely on their hta and bottom lips come out as they stomp about muttering they don't want to play.
I wouldn't be so fucking angry about tonights rain off if all the riders had at least been prepared to give the track a go, then said no, it really is too wet or too slimey but it was plain to see that one or two just weren't interested and Nicki Glanz's ht 2 fall was the perfect excuse for them to get the meeting called off.

Wacks - I take it you've rescinded your membership to the Jason Doyle fan club then?

Can you guess then that I'm not a fan of the whinging arsewipe? On the bright side though Genghis, your boys should have a fantastic track surface tonight. Eric Colvin, Darren & Lance Sealey worked their nuts off to get the track raceable last night and saw little reward for their efforts.

It is only £5 if you bring along last night's readmission ticket (don't worry, you only have to show it, it won't be taken off you). All the best Rob

Would that be the Lance Sealey who rode in the early/mid 90's for Cradley? Just out of interest like

The very same Lance Sealey Matt. He lined up as a Racer during that time too.
His old man used to do the Smallmead track in the late 80's early 90's along with Darren. Not sure what ever happened to Jeff.
Darren & Lance have been helping out at Smallmead whilst Dougie is recouperating. Damn good job they've been doing too.
Ghengis, not sure about tonight. I'm being very domesticated today and am currently up to my elbows in non drip (my arse) gloss.
