Think about coming down for this one, been at work alot in the past few weeks so my last meeting was the Bears at home to Workington and i will miss this Thursdays too.
I would think it will be a good meeting with Rico and Nicholls going back to Coventry, even after what happened in the SWC.
Also, has Hans Andersen now signed for Coventry? Will he be riding? And instead of who if he is?

Hans won't be riding - it's the Danish Final that day.

Yeh, read that on BSF.
Seems it all depends on Horton as to whether there is a facility or not if the deal goes through. Hopefully Horton will stop being a knob for a minute or so and declare his team for Thursday quickly allowing Coventry to use Andersen - therefore allowing a guest on Friday.

do i presume rory is struggling after last night,or is sick note taking another night off. the bookies have eastbourne to only lose by 6 points, and they have absolutely no chance of keeping it to that,if the teams are all fit and as per the bees website.

Hatcham - it's worth remembering that Eastbourne have a team who ride Coventry very well and won there in the first televised Sky match of the season.

Well, that was a great night - some great racing.
The track was very easy to find and it must be one of the poshest areas surrounding a track in the country, Mercedes'/BMW's/4x4's coming out of almost every street turning. Got there way too early at 6:15 and sat in the car for a while waiting for the gates to open - only went and forgot to take my NUS card so couldnt get in for a tenner, £15 instead! Thought it was good the way the pits were set-up, with both team oposite each other so you could just walk straight through the middle and view both sides.
Stood on the 4th bend, one of the few spots we could find where there was no high fence blocking the view a bit and it was good to watch a meeting where we had no preference towards any team - although we were constantly on the phone trying to find out the scores from Weymouth and Somerset! Looking at Eastbourne's reserves it was only going to be a Coventry victory, Brundle scored a point from 4 and Suchanek was gifted his 1+1 by a Ben Barker puncture. Thought Heat 5 was a tough call, Bomber and Scotty were right next to each other going into the bend and from my view i thought the fall was neither riders fault - both holding their lines. If anyone was going to get excluded it would be Nicholls as i thought he may have just caught him, but only caught him because both riders were holding their lines and within inches of each other.
Was disappointed that Eastbourne never used a TS ride in Heat 14 to at least give themselves a chance of getting something - i know only Nicholls was the only consistant rider for them and he couldnt take it but they could have at least tried. The race in Heat 14 was a cracker with BJ, Woodward and Barker all within a bikes length of each other.
Coventry:
Schlein - Steady night. Nice to see him come round for a couple of laps at the end to salute the crowd and enable the crowd to salute him.
Allen - Steady also. Comfortable win in Heat 8 and scored in all his rides.
Harris - Good pass on Richardson on Heat 12 and made it stick well - although Richardson was asking for it.
Janniro - Impressed me, thought he would only get 4 or 5 points but to come out with 8+2 was a shock.
Stead - Made the gate twice on Nicholls only to be passed twice - both brilliantly.
Haines - Good first ride but, to be fair, i could have passed Brundle last night on a pushbike.
Barker - Good first 2 rides. Elbows with Richardson at the line in Heat 12 - Richardson niggling back but keeping his head to leave Barker for dead once the tapes went up.
Eastbourne:
Nicholls - Fantastic. Was hoping he wouldnt make the gate in his rides so we could see his passing and he didnt disappoint, think he only made the gate once all night - in Heat 15. Great pass on Stead in Heat 11, taking Stead up the inside and making it stick. Clever move in Heat 13 too, trying the inside on bends 3/4 for 3 laps and went for the outside line on the last lap to catch Stead by surprise who crossed the line looking up the inside wondering where the feck he was. Untouchable.
Bridger - Did well, good pass on BJ to back-up Nicholls for an 8-1.
Richardson - Asking to be passed by Harris in Heat 12 and was a distant last in Heat 3. Disappointing.
Woodward - Thought he rode better than his 4 points, always on the pace and tried everything to try to pass BJ in Heat 14.
Kennett - Very disappointing. Expected him to get 7 or 8 but only looked good when he made the gate for his race win.
Suchanek - Never moved off the white line once all night, gifted his 1+1 by Barker.
Brundle - Poor as expected.
So, overall a very good night and will be back again - probably next season.
Forgot to add my only 2 grumbles of the night:
A) Why the feck do the centre green announcers insist on talking during the race? Peter York should keep his trap shut until the end of it as no-one can here him and he is an unwanted distraction. Happens at a few tracks and it really gets on my nerves.
B ) The PA system was way too loud.
