Badge, Are you coming to Blenheim later in the year for that horse thing? If so, I'm likely to be cursing you as I get caught up in the traffic. Yes indeed genghis, I am an"Official" at Blenheim Horse Trials, but due to having a home meeting on Thursday night, I shall not be bothering you until Friday, so will be blocking your roads on Friday, Saturday and Sunday ;D Badge - well block away, because I've just checked and I'm in Poland that weekend. The more you block up the road, the less chance of more of these bloody events in the future - especially after the total chaos caused by the bloody Game Fair.

That doesn't stop me having a speedway based holiday there, especially when it involves the GP challenge (or the World Championship Final or whatever silly title its got) - normally one of the best meetings of the year. Britain is still best. But I want to spend a few days in Sweden (August), Poland (September) or the Czech Republic (October), that's up to me.

Having read some posts on BSF, Edinburgh vs Redcar thread, I'd like to nominate the pillock they call Carter.
Think the Redcar supporters travel thingy deserve a pat on the back for banning him in future as well.

Ahhh - got ya. The usual then. Yes, from past experiences I'd second that one. (Standing alongside the man who was encouraging his 5 or 6 year old son to cheer opposition riders falling off - in spite of the fact that one of the crashes required the rider concerned to have medical treatment - was one of the more interesting points over my visits to Arlington over the years) (He got told that he should be ashamed of himself for passing his own poor standards on to an innocent child).

Can I nominate myself. I went to see the Buxton/Boston CL match today. Glorious weather Oop North so shorts and t-shirt were the chosen clothing items today. Upon arrival at the track the track was being heavily watered. I takes my position just level with the entrance to the first turn. Heat 1 and all 4 riders enter the bend pretty much together. Cue shit loads of wet shale coming right for me. I got absolutely covered in the stuff. How's that for a flapperjack. Got my estimations wrong. Numbnuts that I am thought being only about 5 foot away from the track would be enough for me not to covered in shit. I didn't mind though....not much chance of that happening at Belle Vue is there? ?

Oh Eastbourne fans are great fun, you can wind them up so easily. Amazing that a few opposition fans, a war cry and a bit of shredded paper can have such an effect on them! ;D

Lol, horseboxes will start arriving Tuesday and Wednesday, and the event starts on Thursday through to Sunday. And genghis, I'm afraid these horse trials won't be going anywhere, been an International event for years

One Eastbourne fan was in the process of marching off with our paper - until Vanessa Purchase confronted him and made him give it back.
