Aces first meeting! Can they defeat a very hungry Wolves team? I wouldnt like to bet either way to be honest.
Crumpie will no doubt be unbeaten, but its down to the rest to prove their inclusion.
As for Wolves, Fred, David and PUK need to carry on their form from Monday - where they simply did not give up.
Not expecting too much from Nicolai, Kenny or Ales.
Hefe needs to be amongst the points again though!

Schumi, Reserves CAN take tactical rides, but only if they are already programmed in the race. Wolves replaced one reserve with the other and then put named the replacement rider (Klindt) as the tactical ride, which isn't allowed. Rather unhelpfully, rather than include this in the section where the rules for the tactical ride are listed, it's instead listed in the defintion for the tactical ride on page 5 of the rulebook. This seems to have led to the confusion at both Belle Vue and Berwick yesterday. Yet again, it's making a rule more complicated than it actually needs to be.

Yes, it's clear he shouldn't have been able to do that, but what makes it even more of a mockery is that it would have been allowed to put Hefenbrock in for the tactical, have him fall off and damage his bike, then replace him with Klindt, who would have then been eligible to take the T/R in his place.

Of course, the easiest solution would be to get rid of the tactical ride and bring back the old-style tactical substitutes.

Not the best way to start the season off at Kirky Lane. Crowd was great and the start was delayed to let them all in. Track was crap, most of the racing was processional with only Crump and Boxall making passes of any note. Not heard anything about this appeal as of yet so I am presuming the scores still stand at 49-44. Won't make an ounce of difference as we will get spanked by Wolves tonight at Monmore. I'm taking 30 odd people from work with me on the 31st when we ride Lakeside....I just hope it's a better than Good Fridays was.
