Very good meeting. In spite of Gollob's good form tonight, he fails to deliver when the pressure is on. Oh come on. Last year Gollob won it in the final race for Poland and the bloke has also won 13 GPs. You can hardly say he bottles it when the pressure is on. I just wish Gollob was British.

Although i watched the meeting, i was on here and there is no-one better at updating Sky meetings than Paulco. Should be a permanent fixture for GP's and SWC Imagine how good it would be if Rangers lost on the same day as Paulco was doing the GP updates There would be insults flying all over the place!

Love Paulco's meeting notes. Yes, were trying to buy his contract, but he's too loyal to his club. Still, it's nice to read updates with a real sense of humour about them. Good stuff Paulco - I've been popping upstairs during every advert break to read your comments. Schumi, do you think you could fiddle with the swear filter so everytime someone types "Nicki Pedersen" it comes up as "Evil Dane".

Thanks for the kind words people . We aim to please . Weather wasted it a bit , but the closeness between the Danes and the Poles kept things interesting . Sweden will be kicking themselves that it took them about 10 races to get over their fixation about Miss White's chest and i'm afraid the heart was ripped out of Australia's challenge when Crump had to pull out . Worrying for BV fans that .

Hans Andersen won not have been beaten by Walasek in the final race had the World Cup depended on it. The Poles did brilliantly tonight, but they had two passengers in Holta and Walasek. In contrast, Bjerre and Iversen lifted their game when it mattered. That was the real difference between the two teams, not any individual race result.

I could change it to "God" - would that do? Interesting comment from Hans about his Peterborough team-mate not being supposed to win that heat to prevent the Polish tactical ride.

I actually thought that myself at the time , that Bjerre should drop back . No brains sometimes these speedway riders .

To be fair , she was White on Thursday too . Cause Jacques texted me to tell me they were plastic . Typical bitchy female response .

OK , yes he missed the gate - it happens sometimes . But Gollob tried everything for his country in that race , but the track was terrible and he had no chance of getting past . The Evil Dane rode a similar sort of race 2 or 3 heats before , dont hear you critisizing him .

Nicki screwed up bigtime in his last two races, but as Denmark are so strong, it did not matter a jot!

Nicki screwed up bigtime in his last two races, but as Denmark are so strong, it did not matter a jot! Did it not . At the point where the evil Dane " screwed up " , Denmark were only two points ahead . Up until that point Iversen had been awful , so the Danes couldn't have been confident about him coming good in his last heat . Ironically enough the inclement weather probably worked against the home side as the track was unpredictable and the riders were struggling with it . The best team in the world won this tonight , but the Poles deserve enormous credit for pushing them so close and the Swedes must be rueing the dreadful start they made .
