I nominate the Bloody Stupid Prats Association for banning Hans Andresen for two weeks.

Out of interest, who, exactly are the BSPA? I'm assuming Colin is a member, but I think I read that Mick wasn't? Does this kind of situation get passed by one person, or is it voted on - how does it work?

So, as Horton was the club owner, he'd have the final say on Peterborough's voting.

Does this kind of situation get passed by one person, or is it voted on - how does it work? I'd imagine rider bans are the remit of the BSPA Management Committee (5 or 6 members I think) rather than the General Council (which is all promoters). Lord Flapperjack and possibly his wife owned Peterborough speedway. Bratley doesn't appear to have any direct interest, although the accounts finally filed for 2006 appear to indicate outstanding monies owed to creditors (was Bratley involved then?). [BTW - His Lordship appears to be a serial company founder and winder-upperer, which I guess tells you something. ] I think, although I could be wrong, that each member track can nominate two promoters to vote at BSPA meetings. I don't think either actually have to be the owners of the promotion.

Where's Wacks? It's decision time.
Although she does have a tough decision this week, with Lord Flapperjack himself, plus Jim Lynch and Team GB all in heavy contention. Or will she choose someone entirely different?
It's up to you, young Wacks.

Well Sky made a late run for the honour with my 2 month old Sky+ box freezing after ht21 tonight! but will have to settle or 4th spot this week. 3rd - Jim Lynch - still hasn't grasped the concept of the tactical rules of the sport 2nd - Lord Flapperjack - not paying riders again, putting an EL clubs future in jeopardy again, tryng to silence the clubs fans again. Any other week he'd add to his FoTW collection and unfortunately I feel the next couple of weeks will see that happen. 1st - Team GB - more so for their pathetic performance at Cov on Monday with 5 so called track specialists in the team. Young Tai and to some extent Kennet & Harris can hold their heads high after Vojens, but collectively over the course of the SWC Team GB were laughable again.
