Atm, I feel like Sky are pulling off a 'Norn Iron' coverage job. ''We're doing well to be third'' attitude and it's no more evident than the manager. The 'Poor Me, Poor Me,' attitude is getting up my nose.

Pathetic from Richardson. No bottle to stick the bike where it hurts. You wouldn't see a Crump or Pedersen give that room.
And Jonsson in his interview points out his failings.
And there Laguta shows some bottle in blocking off Woffinden.

The Poles could be undone by Jokers again.

I don't know why British managers persist in giving the global superstar Joker rides in the SWC - he invariably cocks it up.

I'd be very surprised if we see Lee Richardson in Ht 16. I'd guess that Harris will replace him. But, having said that, Jim Lynch is manager, so anything is possible.

He said how bad gate one is, then he uses Nicholls on it for double points!

He under-estimated Davidsson and Jagus as well.

Just about everyone picking on Rune Holta there. Only Kennett missing out on the fun with the Norwegian Pole.

Well, it took that ignorant twat Kelvin Tatum MBE about twenty minutes of dithering before he finally decided the global superstar might've knocked Ljung off on Monday and all of two seconds to conclude that Laguta had "cleaned up" Richardson tonight. A fair enough decision from the referee, but Richardson was riding like an old woman, while Laguta was fighting hard and could feel a little hard done by.

Richardson is really letting team GB down tonight.

I think Jagus nicked that, to be honest.

And the Poles can now use Walasek as a Joker, if they want. Also the Russian's can use Laguta as a Joker, as this is Darkin's ride, I think.

Sub - I see you've found a new name for the former beggar and former former British Champion. Tonight was slightly better from Team GB, but still pretty poor. In particular, Richardson and Nicholls underperformed. In contrast, Woffinden did very well. The lad is so calm and collected. And Lynch's nomination of Nicholls as the Joker in Heat 15 was utterly bizarre.

Agree - the joker decision was completely mad and caused yet more verbal diarrhoea to pour out of Tatum's mouth - I noticed tonight he even resorted to being pleased that other teams were having bad luck so Team GB were being gifted points that they hadn't earned - someone please shove a box of Imodium down his throat in an attempt to stop the flow... Thought Tai looked very impressive and he does appear to be very laid back as well - long may it continue. Shame Emil couldn't appear for the Russians as that could have made it a bit closer between 3rd & 4th. Can't wait to see who the Sky 'experts' will be backing on Saturday night - probably whoever happens to be in front at the time

A bit disappointed Britain faded away after making a decent fist of things early on . I think we saw the early seeds of a sparkling international career for young Woffinden . I suspect Nicholls is on borrowed time as the nation's number 1 . In saying that Woffinden , Nicholls and Harris is a decent base for Britain to be competative at this level . Kennett still has to prove he has what it takes to make the jump to international speedway , while Richardson's time must surely now be over . Below the three i've already mentioned , we still need at least two more to step up to the plate . Roynon , Haines and possibly Tully could , but are at least two years away from being considered . Stead and Allen have reached the level of their ability and are not good enough . And the current team manager has no business trying to kid on he actually knows what he's doing - when it is apparent to anyone with even limited knowledge of speedway that he doesn't . But i was not totally disappointed about tonight , although neither Sweden or Poland will seriously threaten Denmark or Australia on Saturday . Saturday should be a shoo-in for the Danes , but i just hope the Aussies spoil the party .
