No news yet on the Aces line up yet but I do know Joe Screen won't be riding. He's pencilled in our next home meeting, 21st July, against Peterborough to make a return.
I bet James Wright scores more than 3+1 on Thursday too.

There's been a change-around in the Swindon team as the new averages kick in, with Wright moving back up and Alden back at reserve. Line-ups should be:
Swindon:
1..Leigh Adams 2..R/R 3..Mads Korneliussen 4..James Wright 5..TravisMcGowan 6..Manuel Hauzinger 7..Seb Alden
Belle Vue:
1..Jason Crump 2..R/R? 3..Charlie Gjedde 4..Billy Forsberg 5..Guest? 6..Nick Simmons 7..Patrick Hougaard

45 - 45 draw.
Aces fans on the BSF screaming we were unlucky tonight because we lost Billy Forsberg and Kevin Doolan had an EF in the final race whilst in third.
What a load of shite. Morton is tactically inept as a Manager and doesn't know when to use his R/R rides. Simmons in heat 13??? Surely Gjedde would have been the better option?
Robins were doubly unlucky losing both Alden and Hauzinger and then have to run the remainder of the meeting with 1 rider in the races the reserves would have been.
We did well tonight did Belle Vue.....we did bloody well not to win.

I know Youngy, they drive me mad.
Both tems had misfortune and a draw ended up a fair result.
Must agree though, your TM makes Rosco look a genious!

Chris Morton is utterly hopeless as a team manager - he did everything he could think of to hand victory to the Bees on Monday.

Gjedde wasn't an option for Heat 13, as he'd already taken a R/R ride in Heat 4. Nick Simmons was the only rider eligable to ride in Heat 13, as Hougaard was already in it, and The Aces weren't eight points down. Morton may not be in Jon Cook's class, but to be fair, on this occasion he had no alternative.

Why would Belle Vue want to use Gjedde in a race that had Crump and Adams in it? That would be rather wasting his ride as the most he could realistically hope for would be one point.

To save me looking it up, what did Patrick score tonight please? Nine points from seven rides Schumi, but I guess you've looked it up by now?

That way Forsberg and Gjedde would have been the R/R in the later heats. I admit that nobody was to know what would happen to Forsberg and both Swindon reserves but if he had put Simmons in heat 4 then Charlie in heat 13 would have, maybe but we'll never know, scored a point at most and that point would have won us the match. In saying that it would have been very, very hollow victory and one I wouldn't have been gloating about nor took any pride in.
