Okay, I know it's a long shot, but the Czestochowa meeting in Poland was ridden early because Nicki had to fly to England afterwards. Yes, he might live here, but it sounds like there was a special reason for him coming back to have to change the time of the meeting.
So, could he be making a guest appearance? As far as I can see the only rider he'd be able to replace is Crump, who isn't injured. It's entirely possible he's just over here visiting - he was at Silverstone with the Honda team over the weekend.
But is it too much to hope he'll be making an appearance - if not today, then possibly signing a contract? (Please not Wolves, please not Wolves, please not Wolves.)

He was recently in the Pits as a special guest... Considering the history between Hans and Nicki it would seem unlikely - although Mr Horton recently confirmed "When we make the relevant team changes we will remain unbeaten home and away for the rest of 2008 and hopefully make the top 2 and definately the top 4 for a play off birth!!
