Repeat of 2007 JYS final, both teams injury stricken again. STMP track specialist Jason Lyns comes to visit along with former Bear Jack Hargreaves and serial roller Andrew Tully. And it was a more than welcome win for their Bears against an assorted set of Premier League riders representing the injury-plagued Brummies.(46:44). For the Bears the star of the show was Ty Proctor, who scored 15+1 from 6 rides. And he received solid support from James Grieves (9 from 4 rides) and former world champion Gary Havelock (9+2 from 5 rides). But perhaps most pleasing of all for the sludge troopers was Josh Auty's score of 9+1 from 6 rides, which represents a massive improvement on recent performances. For the Brummies it was guest Tomas Topinka who led the scoring with 15 points from 6 rides, followed by Craig Watson with 11 from 6 rides.
