Word from Lakeside is that the Hammers have bought Jonas Davidsson's contract from Swindon.

More great work from Rosco. Nice little earner to go towards buying Batchelor!

So Swindon have finally managed to offload the rider they didn't want to buy in the first place.

Well, I guess it depends on how radical the changes from the working party are going to be. If there's an overhaul of the asset system then it's money down the drain, but I don't think there will be. Jonas has been scoring well at home. If he can pick up a few more points away it could be a very astute signing, and reiterates the loyalty Jonas has shown to the club by giving him something in return. Overall I'm more than happy with this one.

Overall I'm more than happy with this one. In League and KO Cup meetings Jonas is actually averaging marginally higher on the road than he is around Arena!! His average away is 7.00 and at home, 6.97. And on your first point, can you honestly see a member of the working party making a move which will be detrimental to his club after the recommendations of the working party are released?

After the masterstroke Oxford pulled in poaching him from Reading Genghis! In all seriousness, Jonas looked a different rider when he came back to Reading mid-way through last season. The ability has always been there, just never really shone through before, but he seems to have started this season as he finished 2007.

After the masterstroke Oxford pulled in poaching him from Reading Genghis! It was something of a masterstroke, as I believe Waggy sold him onto Swindon for a considerable profit.

Done him a lot of good . Now a masterstroke was haveing a double headed walking out with all the takeings and not paying any of the riders and then going bust ;D

I get quite nostalgic about his time at the club.

Hoping it's not serious, but Jonas has withdrawn after a fall in Sweden tonight.
